• VS1 and VS2 (Very Small inclusions): medium clarity grade, small inclusions can be seen with a 10X lopue but not by an expert human eye. It’s the most commonly clarity grade used for medium-high quality jewelry.
• SI1 and SI2 (Slightly Included): low clarity grade, there are inclusions that can be seen easily with a 10x loupe. Quite common for old family jewels.
• I1 (Included): last clarity grade, inclusions visible to an expert naked eye.
